Feet on the Earth
I am Heidi Cram, a Nevada county native. I am am in awe of the natural beauty within walking distance of my home. It is my intention to walk as much of the Nevada County as possible and document my exploration and discoveries for the benefit of others. I have been working on this project and its many iterations for 12 years. If you are excited about walking in Nevada county or the place you call home.
I hope my experience will inspire. I intend to grow Feet on the Earth into a walking and hiking resource for Nevada County and for walkers and hikers where ever you be. I will create maps, videos and links to help you explore the beauty of Nevada County. I hope to uplift your day and inspire you to go into the out of doors and begin walking on your own two feet or one foot or rolling or simply getting out outside through the vicarious virtual experience of my videos, stories and images of Nevada County. The links on this page will soon lead you to my youtube page and to the ever expanding map of the walks I have done in Nevada County. My total Nevada County miles walked to date is still in the measuring and calculating phase, but I estimate I have already walked several hundred miles on roads and trails. I intend to extend that distance into the thousands of miles as I my walking stamina increases and I step onto new roads, trails and meandering waterways.
